Katherine Jean Bolduan, also called her professional name Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist. Her most famous role is anchorwoman for CNN's morning show At This Hour. She also was co-anchor for the CNN morning news show New Day as well as The Situation Room. Bolduan was part of CNN s award-winning coverage of the 2012 and 2016 presidential election. Bolduan worked as an Washington DC-based correspondent for the congressional reporting on activities of Congress, the US House of Representatives and Senate. In her time as a member of the Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported on legislative events and congressional events such as negotiations to increase the debt ceiling for federal government and super committee discussions. Bolduan was an associate reporter on general assignments, covering such events like the Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt and the Supreme Court's landmark decision regarding Obamacare.
