Bellamy Young
Young's acting career began in theatre. While playing Mary The Life's first line-up, Young gave her Broadway debut in the role of Mary in 1997 on Broadway in 1997. In addition, she performed off Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's Merryly We Rolled Along (1994) in addition to as Randy Newman's Faust (from 1995 to 1996). Her debut was on TV in 1995 as the character Dr. Courtney Evans. She appeared on Law & Order in 1997 as well as 1998 in two characters. In 1999, she made a film debut with a small role in the crime drama Black and White and later was a co-star in a number of independent films. Beginning in 2000, she started appearing as an guest on a number of television dramas and comedy series, like The Drew Carey Show and The X Files. From 2000 to 2011 Young made over 30 guest appearances on tv shows. Young was a regular cast member in the USA Network series Peacemakers in 2003. After nine episodes, the show ended after a single season. The actress was a regular character in the Lifetime series For the People, a law-based drama. Atty. Agnes Hunt, NBC's Scrubs, as Dr. Grace Miller, NBC's Scrubs, as Monica West (CSI: Miami, 2005-06) in ABC's Dirty Sexy Money, as Ellen Darling (the eldest in-law daughter of the Darlings) and CBS's CSI: Miami, as Monica West (assistant state attorney). In 2011, she appeared as an appearance as Beth Clemmons on Criminal Minds.
